25 years image

As we enter our 27th year in the Quad City area, I would like to thank all who have participated and made the Tuesday Night Match the success it is. I would also like to thank those who have volunteered over these many years to help run the matches, without whom we would not be where we are today.

In the interest of fair competition to all: Except for the rare occasion, kindly refrain from the use of PCC's, rimfire Carbines or Rifles in our Matches, all of which are designed for the use of a handgun. Any weapon that is fired from a shoulder is considered a PCC by our League regardless of the designation or description assigned by the weapon's manufacturer.
PCC's are not practical in all of our Matches. It is incumbent upon the potential PCC shooter to check with the Match Director, RSO or website the week prior to the match for usage applicability.
The use of this style of weapon will be required to shoot from a greater distance and will be required on occasion to fire more rounds than the handgun users. Their use is limited to one or both dates of the same Match and then cannot be used again for 90 days.
As of 3/16/21 handguns equipped with any Dot Sight and/or Laser sight will be required to shoot from a farther distance and will occasionally have to fire more rounds, Match dependent.

The matches begin at 5:30 pm and usually last until 7:30 pm.

The Four Rules of Safe Gun Handling:
1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
2. NEVER CROSS ANYTHING WITH THE MUZZLE YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY
3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ALIGNED WITH THE TARGET
4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT LIES BEYOND IT
